Can I use my zoom lens on the 35mm SLR camera in a digital camera from the same brand?
I have a Pentax SLR, I bought 4 years ago for $ 199. I also bought a zoom to 190 pounds. I think now the digital world, but wondered if the lenses are interchangeable
Yes you can. Everyone Pentax KAF and KA lenses may contain a Samsung or Pentax digital body. If the lens has a manual opening ring May you need to set this value in position 'A' to get the full aperture TTL / communication between the lens and body. You, however, experience a conversion factor of approximately 1.5x, so a lens with a focal length of 35mm-300mm that now have a 100mm focal length of 150mm-450mm approx.
