Heat can cause images on a carrier card from the camera to be removed?
I was recently in a very hot and my camera Pentax began to freeze on me. I would have to remove the batteries to the beginning again, just be frozen again. If I left the batteries, the camera became very hot in the battery compartment. I had a full memory card (256MB) and when I returned, only 29 of the images were presented … and these photos were on the 3rd day of vacation. All that has gone before. I tried a number of programs available online to retrieve lost images, but all of them said there was no recoverable images on the card. However, the 29 best pictures are still there. So I do not know if I should continue trying to get my other photos. Is possible that the heat generated by batteries somehow deleted images?
The heat should not take photos magically erased. May the memory card is faulty or that the camera is defective. Is not that the extreme heat in the deletion of images. Take a few photos in a cool house or an A / C building and see if you do same. While there, back to where you bought it, and say you bought a defective memory card. If the new memory card not working, then either the camera is defective.
