The Nikon D40 is the camera photo here that give the greatest potential. It is a gateway to the huge Nikon system. If you are Ritzcameras.com, Adorama.com, or BHPhotovideo.com and research of lenses, you'll find many more options for Nikon to Sony or Pentax. The price is slightly lower than the D40 in the D60 will give room for memory cards, flash memory or output another destination.
